happy father's day

i had fun celebrating father's day yesterday. I celebrated it with some of the most important people in my life:

• my sister and her boyfriend. well, as early as now, i should establish harmonious relationship with him since he's bound to be my brother-in-law in the near future. uhuh.
• my boyfriend. of course he is sOoo invited. :D we stole him from his family yesterday. hahaha. thanks bubby for celebrating this important day with our family
• my mom
• and of course our dad. hooray! :)

We had lunch and bought our dad a new dvd player after. sweet huh? after which, we went home to plug the whole system in -- something which i have no patience of. Fortunately, we have our engineer (the boyfie *ehem*) to assist us in plugging this wire to this slot here or there. hahaha. we tried the dvd player, popped in a karaoke cd and sang the night away. so what did you guys do to celebrate father's day?

cake watching

my flu worsened so i was absent from work the day before yesterday. but with mom's care and compassion, i was back to my fever-free self. thanks momma! :) now, I'm back to work with, fortunately, no tasks at hand. so what do i do? surfing and blog hopping, of course! and so i stumbled upon this site selling personalized cakes -- Bohemia Cakes and Pastries. what delight i had when i saw the pictures posted. here are just some of the tempting treats.

the cakes look really yummy and adorable, do they? so for more of these mouth-watering sweets, click here. my tummy growled just now hahaha. I've been inviting my seatmate for a snack but she was just too busy with her tasks. too bad. the snack will have to wait. tata for now friends :)

my sincerest apologies to my unsung hero - my boyfriend whom i forgot to mention in this post. really sorry :( i was too ecstatic about the cakes that i forgot how thoughtful he was that day. he went out of his way just to visit me, remind me of the Chinese pills he gave me way before, and cheer me up. he never backed down on me even on my most unglamorous day. so sorry bubby. now that i feel better, i'm sending him my hug and some sloppy kiss... hahaha. thanks much!

sickie's summer getaway

Just this morning, i woke up feeling sick, tired and groggy. my eyes had dark circles around it even if i slept like a baby last night. my throat was sore and i began sneezing. yikes! this is sOoo not aH1N1 folks. this is just a simple flu that'll eventually go away. By afternoon, it got to a point where I could hardly concentrate on my work. tsk tsk tsk. so you guys better not let the flu catch you. ok?

hi friends. as i've said even in my previous posts, i've been busy with work so this equates to less time for visiting my blogger friends. you'd forgive me for doing that, right? hehehe. i thought so too. haha. anyway, the web conference turned out very well as i didn't have to utter a single word. good thing our team head was with me. i perfectly dodged every question and pointed her to answer everything. ngahaha. i didn't have to fuss and fret after all. Thanks to everyone especially my "vulture" friends who showed much love and support. hahaha. right kay? hahaha.

anyway, i've been so stressed for so long so i went to a party i've been invited to last Saturday. we had dinner as usual and proceeded to a ktv after. i had so much fun that i totally forgot about my curfew. sorry mum. haha.

i pretty much have a good time on weekends when i don't get to think about work and when i hang out with friends. This Saturday will be even better as we'll go to a beach resort to say goodbye to summer. i promise to post pictures of our escapade and keep you guys updated. tata for now!
